Portocolom, on the south-east coast of Mallorca, owns one of the largest and most beautiful natural harbors of the island. This traditional fisherman's village, which the locals refer to simply as "port", belongs to the township of Felanitx, lying about 12 kilometers distant in the direction towards Palma.

With the SPORTING CLUB FIDEL , there is another gastronomical highlight in Portocolom. Calle Cristobal Colón Nr. 3 was until recently a large boathouse in the harbor street where boats and yachts spent the winter. SPORTING CLUB FIDEL - which celebrated its opening in these walls on June 9th 2006 - has not thoughtlessly imposed its own design scheme but rather preserved the old architecture with care.

The brick columns, the iron girders, the ceiling of stone and old beams, the coarse, bare plaster, as well as the ample and capacious space are all architectural elements quite worthy of preservation.
